2)Alex Bausch will discuss the process for becoming a delegate to the MassDems Convention, what it means to be a delegate, and what the Convention is like.

3)The Regional Organizing Director for Sen Ed Markey will talk to us about the Senator’s campaign.

QUORUM NEEDED

Kimberley Haley-Jackson is stepping down as Affirmative Action and Diversity Officer. Kim is a force of nature, an extraordinary chair of Belmont’s Human Rights Commission, organizer of the MLK, Jr. breakfast, and a community leader who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. We are grateful for her voice and continued presence as a BDTC member.

Sanji Alwis is interested in joining the executive board as the interim Affirmative Action and Diversity Officer. If elected, Sanji wants to be sure the position is a good fit and he can make meaningful changes. This is an open position for all full members! If you are interested, please let me know so you can also be nominated.
